10 days? Seriously one-zero days since we crossed back over the pond and became NYLONY's. Unreal. It has been a completely crazy, sporadic whirlwind since we got back to The City.
Since many of you have wondered if we have temporarily fell off the planet, here's a quick recap of what we've been up to:
- Partied like Kings and Queens with our favorite Londoners at the Old Queens Head on our last night in London
- Camped out in the W Union Square
- Saw Heather Graham haggling over $25 in Hertz
- Rented a car from Hertz
- Fell back in love with Fall (errr Autumn) with a quick trip to visit the Fowlston's in Oxford, NY - Hoppies is still the best ice cream parlor in the world (mark my words!)
- Ate at Saigon Grill
- Passed Mr. Big (aka Chris Noth) smoozing on his cell phone
- Rode an elevator with Penn Badgely at the Archives while apt hunting
- Bought an iphone
- Bought a MacBook
- Was written off by my brother and sister in law for not supporting Microsoft
- Moved into our temp apartment in 12th and 6th
- Shopped at Whole Foods
- Primped in the bathroom at The Pierre with Cybill Shepherd, and checked in Stacy London, Sherri Shepherd, Jim Cramer, and Susie Essman at the IRTS Gold Medal Dinner (held at The Pierre)
- Rented another car from Hertz (sans Heather Graham haggling)
- Watched Mike and his Mom channel Bobby Flay in their kitchen in Ellicott City
- Opened belated b-day gifts - Thanks Mom & Dad!
- Hung out with the world's cutest Cooper kids I know and 'The Whitest Kids U'Know' - not one in the same mind you
- Ate at Mexicana Mama
- Viewed more apartments
- Shopped more at Whole Foods (minorly obsessed)
- Put an offer in on an apartment
- Ate at Il Brigante
- Walked away from said apartment
- Got an offer from landlords at apartment and now considering contract
And so it goes....
Anyway, as we get back into the swing of things, I have a few more London To-Do's that I have yet to blog about and lots more NYLONY updates to come ... Stay Tuned!
New York is very modern city for living. I went there thrice in year. I visited almost all the places of there.
