I have to admit an Amy Winehouse spotting wasn't on the original 101 Things List but just may have to be a last minute addition! 

We snapped her hanging outside of Livebait which happened to be across the street from my chic leaving drink location, B@1.  The birthday girl was boozing it up with some buds before the paps came and chased her away.  We hear she later wasn't looking so hot (if she ever is is debatable) follow a messy performance at a CG Jazz Club.

Now I just need to bump elbows with Kate Moss to complete my roster of N. London crazy celeb spottings (Kelly Osbourne, Kirstin Dunst, Heath Ledger, Sadie Frost, Jude Law).

Love him or hate him, I had to go see Sacha Baron Cohen as "Bruno" with his fellow Brits...oh and another American and an Aussie.  Our newly initatied Work Film Club decided, maybe inappropriately, that this would be the first flick we would screen together. 

Thanks to Kirstie, Lorna, Jen, and Katie who gaped and gasped our way through the film together two Orange Wednesday's ago.  Thank goodness we had our own little "carbicide" including lots of popcorn and sweeties to accompany the shock and awe!

I don't chat about it much, but frankly I think most of the time I've got a pretty good gig.  I'm fortunate that my colleagues work on some pretty cool campaigns and frankly I'm pretty pruod of them for it... so here goes:

From the East Coast of the Atlantic to the West (aka NY to LON of course), here's a bit of what my girls are discussing around our virtual watercooler:

• Don't mess with the DABA* Girls.  Following an AR* New York Times expose, the DABA girls are the talk of the Town with their witty, tongue-in-cheek (me thinks) banter about what its like to "Date A Banker" during these tumultuous times on the "Street".  Having a COMMITTED FBF* who knows Je Ne Sais Finance* - I, and a host of others apparently, are hooked on reading about others who are also living the dream* (see vocab for translation)
  
• Continuing the AR* theme, my friends and I are singing "hallelujah" to hear that "Recessionistas are in, and Fashionistas are out".  This year its fashionable to be dressing, dining, entertaining and being beautiful on a budget.  Call it "chiconomics" if you want, but hunting for bargains on sample sale Web sites, in consignment stores and in discount stores which commission inexpensive fashion lines from top designers is just fine in 2009!  To score some wallet friendly cheap chic, check out:

• Still on the Fashion Front - did you know the trends of "Heritagewear", "figure skater chic", and "aprons" are en vogue?  My take, YES, ABSOLUTELY NOT and a MAYBE on those trends.  PS - do love the aprons offered at Anthropologie
• Who is Tracey Anderson?  Well only the most talked about fitness trainer in Feb.  As "trainer to the stars", this fit and fab lady who works exclusively with Gwyneth and Madonna has just opened a state of the art gym in NYC.  Can't afford the $900 per MONTH price tag in these credit crunch times? Then check out her DVDs for a mere $29.99 or better YET the free download on Gwyneth's GOOP (which over itself is a What's Hot Steppin' topic of the moment!)for the fit gift to yourself and a better bod.
• And finally, for all you foodies out there, Chipotle is coming to London!  After I can only happily confirm is a surgence of Mexican in the Mother Country, including the launch of Mucho Mas (my local), Chilango, and Wahaca, Chipotle would be a welcome addition the spicy mix!  Ole!
